Off to Guernsey for a few days away from it all in a few weeks, and was wondering if anyone knows anywhere to get decent coffee there?

Of course it was once sort of part of Germany, but let's not go into that one

I love this place. You just can't do this kind of jokes in germany without getting at least 'the looks' ;)

Yep, no PC from me

Anyway, back to the thread subject, no pointers yet, so might have to brave it blind. Always a dangerous idea.
Evev worse I discover that my "whole of Western Europe" TomTom map does not cover the Channel Islands at all, it is apparently not mapped by the mappinmg people that TomTom and several other sat-navs use  Not that it is a big place but it would still be handy for getting around.

Guernsey is so lovely. I've not been there for over ten years and back then there were no particularly good coffee places that I can remember. It will be interesting to know if there are any that have sprung up at all, please let us know what you find Simon, and have a lovely time you lucky things.
