Sorry for the spam - but should any of you folk be in London do please drop into the House of Fraser on Oxford Street (4th floor) where the coffee is free and well made (if I am there) in the Gaggia section.

Be interesting to meet some of you odd lot....

Spam over.

ta,

Jim

Was definitely planning on it Jim although I had thought to surprise you!

BTW I met someone you know at the weekend, flogging Gaggia machines at the annual CLA Game Fair.

Finally a valid excuse for going to House of Fraser! Oh the pain and torment of coffee research... 8) But how do we know if you will be the one manning the pumps?

drop me a PM! Actually I am rubbish at those. Drop an e-mail to info@gaggia.uk.com maybe

I am there most days except Fridays and Sundays. Got a big thing going on there at the moment with The Prince's Trust - giving kids proper barista skills (all perfect espresso and microfoam and good background knowledge) and then linking them up with some places and jobs.

Such fun!

Jim, I put the chap's flyer in my jacket pocket with the intention of showing it to you when I visit, hopefully this week. I can't remember his name offhand. He runs a freelance coffee machine business (memory says in Hitchin (or was it Hertford), but memory could be wrong) and he said he was trained by you. He spoke very, very highly of you indeed.

He also needed to clean the heads on his machine! The espresso his colleague pulled for me tasted dirty.

Was it Farran someone?

I shall give him a telling off and make sure he is using brew cleanse. How kind of him to say nice things. He hasn't been properly trained yet, he comes in to pick my brain mostly. He's very enthusiastic. Then again - it could be someone else entirely.....
