Booths coffee

Postby fred25 » Thu Nov 01, 2007 9:49 am

Came upon the 'coffee' page of the Booths supermarket website, which (incredulously) mentions things as freshness of beans (they claim their beans are available in stores 24h after having been roasted), and 'hand-roasting' - apparently they have their own in-house roaster:

http://www.booths-supermarkets.co.uk/coffee.html

So i was wondering if anyone had tried any of their coffees? I'm not expecting them to be actually good (what we would call good!), but are they actually better than what you usually get in supermarkets and the like?

We have topics???
Would be good to find out whatever you can Jim. I realise this isn't going to be an ideal option for most of us, but it could definitely be a step in the right direction for the general masses, and for that I think it should be applauded.

I do not want to know what you could possibly do with a pain au raisin that would cause chafing. It really is Too Much Information.

Pass the smelling salts. Gah.
