Padstow or Newquay?

Is it actually possible to find a good shot?

Padstow or Newquay?

Postby San_Marzano » Thu Aug 30, 2007 11:06 am

I'm going for a short break in Cornwall next week and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere preferably in Padstow and preferably not part of Rick Steins empire - although i would go if pushed (went to his restaurant last time and it was fantastic although a bit pricey - £28 for a monkfish jalfrazi!)

Give Rick Steins Patisserie a miss if youre passing - cheap enough (£1.00 for espresso) for one of his establishments but awful quality - too much, too hot, no crema!

If you get a chance to get over to Wadebridge then you should visit Relish - http://www.relishfoodanddrink.co.uk/.

Hugo, who runs the coffee side, should pull you a great shot, and is a lovely chap to boot.

I'll never own too many items with which to enjoy coffee.
