Anybody know of a good coffee shop in Whitby?

Bazbean - I'm hoping that you might be able to help me here, we've got a holiday planned in Robin Hoods Bay soon.

Cheers

Your writing a guide too coffee shops book aint ya ? ....

Marionhaste (TMC) has a shop there but as she is too shy to tell us (Or Scaredey cat) what its called I cant direct you as i have never been.
LOL, DESPITE the nice lady being a secret customer of mine for ages !!

as far a whitby itself is concerned I have been disapointed everytime i am sorry to say.
I have had a reasonable cappo which had a lot of effort put into it from a place right on the quayside which is also a bistro/bar and is furnished extremely well (sorry cant remeber name). The coffee itself was not to my likeing but maybe that was just the blend.

Java behind Woolworths (go out of the back of the top floor and it is on your left) used to be good - good coffe and atmosphere - but I haven't been for a year or so and it was going downhill at the time.

Last time I was there, there was a new place along the quayside but I can't remember the name and I didn't try it.

There are a few places that look the part but I haven't had chance to try them.

Whitby is about pubs and fish and chips anyway.

The Guide Book idea is interesting but untrue I’m afraid!

I have to travel around a lot with work and am trying to put together a list of places for when I’m out and about.

I’ll have a look for Java when I’m there this week.

Cheers

If I don't know the name of your place, how can I visit you next time I am in Whitby?
