The filter coffee they serve at teched is very bad, the espresso based drinks from the umbrella stands is a bit better but still not very good.
I'm going to Bonanza Coffee Heroes today though!!!!!!!!

You should also try this one: http://www.godshot.de

To my mind they play at the same level than Bonanza...

Bonanza Coffee heroes was excellent!! I stayed there for an hour or so, and drank 3 coffees :)
I also bought 2 packets for home and it turned out excellent even on my lowly Gaggia.
I also took photos and will post them soon.

Have to disagree with you there.
Went a few times when I was staying in Berlin, had a chat with the dude who runs it. Lovely guy, although there were a few linguistic barriers.
While a definite improvement on the usual Berlin efforts, there's a ways to go. I'm obviously biased being ex-bonanza staff, but I think there's somewhat of a chasm between the two. Bonanza is on par with the better shops in London to my mind; Godshot, although worth a look in, is not.

Such comments are guaranteed to bite me on the arse.

That is very true, i would definately say you are being biased!

Bonanza is certainly one of the best places i have ever visited. Their effort is tops, the interieurs very special and the coffees Very Good!

Godshot is perhaps different, but by no means lesser in quality.

They were pretty new when I went in. A year of trading can do wonders in a cafe.
