Finally a place in Berlin

Is it actually possible to find a good shot?

Yes that is a Synesso.
I am just starting to like the machine. In the beginning it was a bit unclear. And i had some doubts when testing it.
But it works really good actually. And it is as tempreture stable as synesso says it is. It is even kind of amazing how spot on it is. Since i came from a pid Linea. Synesso says the machine is on an half a degree acurate, but in fact it is with in 2 tenth of a degree acurate and most of the time not even fluctuating at all according to the scace device. And the steam leaver is really a blessing when in a shop enviroment.

Hi everyone,

Just came back from a great weekend in Berlin, and visited Kiduk's shop. It's great! :-) The coffee is really good, I can very much recommend going there. Met Kiduk too, which was nice. He's Dutch, you know!

They just got a new Mazzer grinder with electronic controls & cooling. It's quite big. Anyone know what it could be?

Also, he said they will be roasting their own coffee soon. Good luck, Kiduk!

The neighborhood near the shop is filled with nice little bars, restaurants, shops, etcetera. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit!
tell me I`m mad
you're a fine one to decide

Found it eventually (it's not that obvious from the outside).

Place is really nice - really nice vibe and the food looked delicious. Only my old man's grumbling stopped us going back for cake.

Shots were excellent, even if they told us they were a little fast.

Thoroughly recommended - and have done to friends who live in Berlin.

Hope it goes well for you all :-)
The first question I ask myself when asked to do something that's not obviously and overwhelmingly in my own best interest is, 'Exactly what happens if I don't do it?'

Well, I will be in Berlin for TechEd (9/14nov) so will try to drop by... probably craving for a good espresso after having to cope with the shait they''ll probably serve at the Hotel and at TechEd....

Any other places in Berlin where you can get a good coffee ? I'm staying near Ku'dam.

There's another good cafe, also in Prenzlauerberg. Forgot the name but. The address is 49 Marienburger str, just off Prenzlauer Allee. An ex-bonanza employee owns and runs it.
It's not got the gadgetry of Bonanza, but coffee's good, food is nice, and there's space to sit inside. Runs on a 2-group San Marco, if I'm not inventing memories.

The rest of Berlin is a bit of a coffee desert though.
Ku'damm you've got no chance.

Greetings from Berlin.....

Had an espresso at Balzac near Potsd.Platz, not the best I ever had but certainly not the worst either ;)
Haven't gotten around to visit Bonanza yet unfortunately but will try to do so tomorrow or saturday. Somehow TechEd takes up all my time here ;)
