Is it actually possible to find a good shot?

I don't think I'll make it to the trade show (allthough I'm writing about food these days with the mag finally seeing the light on things gastronomical, I kind of limit myself to the three star restaurants for now, as it's a lot to, er, take in (is there a smiley that says 'YUMMIE'?) :) ).

You (and Jim, who I presume will accompany you?) are of course welcome to try to extract some half decent coffee from my poor VBM Domobar and my not very, er, halal Mazzer Mini. PM me by all means!
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

When's the championship exactly? I'd like to be there, if I can fit it in.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings Dom, but being the Invisible Man, is a major drawback, when waiting for a lift.

I was wearing gloves, it was cold out, so you could clearly see my thumb asking for a lift :?

Maybe they thought it was something else sticking out rather than your thumb, hard to tell when a persons invisible ......that would explain everything ?

Hmmmmmm, I came into work this morning, just for old-times sake, and read 15 posts by Cakey. I think I better have one of these delicious muffins from Leigh before I try to do anything useful. Very thoughtful of her to pass them out to ALMOST everyone on the list.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters.
I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!
