I live in the sticks, but I'm off the Leeds next weekend and I was wondering if there's any reccomended bars or the likes around ? Also, any good shops for picking up some equipment, I hate gambling with crazy internet shops.

Depends what you want mate. Several TMC members run very good internet shops, such as

Pennine
Happy Donkey
and several others in the UK alone.
If you want to hold it in your hands first, fair enough - but all of the above, and many others, are highly trustworthy and offer superb customer service.
Re Leeds, try PM-ing ackers or pault. Ackers lives there and pault works there.

I went to Charbux in Leeds once, and I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry!
