Milano - Peck, Via Spadari 9
Posted: Sun Jan 30, 2005 9:59 amI just got 250 grams of Columbia San Augustin, roasted and sold by Peck, the famous gourmet warehouse in Milan (www.peck.it). It costs a whopping 9 € and believe me: it's a rip off. Burned taste, not fresh (when asked when their coffee was roasted, they told K that "all the coffees had been roasted in the last 14 days", like it was something to be proud of). I would advise everybody to stay away from Peck's coffee. But the rest of the shop is supposed to be amazing (and f**** expensive!).
