Pascucci Coffee

Postby Viernes » Sat Jan 02, 2010 5:07 pm

Has anyone tasted Pascucci Gold coffee? I've tasted in Italy and I love the flavor, specially for cappuccino. Its hard to explain the flavor, Its like a strong caramel or a sweet liquor. Delicious IMO.

I'm wondering what type of bean bring that special flavor. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Good quality Central or South American beans (El Salvador, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Colombia and so on, even Brazil) will yield decent sweet caramel tones if medium to medium dark roasted. The liquor tones could well come from a nice rich fruity African from somewhere like Ethiopia or Kenya.

A list of specific beans would be enormous.
