i thought it smelt like lentil soup, haven't tasted it yet tho, will do that soon.

Mnnmmmmnnnnn! I like lentil soup! But, before my coffee, not instead of.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters. I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

I think that they mean Sidikalang. It was a spelling mistake on Steves site?
Espresso: BFC TCI Lira.
Grinders: Eureka Mignon (2), Mahlkonig Guatemala,
Roaster: Gene Cafe.

I love this coffee because its exciting every time you brew it to see what semi-pungent odour will be emitted lol.
Its slightly rural and rich, i think spicy as well when i sniff the brewing FP. I don't get much banana though.
If you brew a French Press, try swirling the grinds after adding water with the handle of a spoon, then sniffing it.... eye opening!
