The Aricha in question was a SqM subscription coffee, won't be on the webshop AFAIK.

The Beloya also SqM - available as espresso at some point ??

Some of the Scandanavian roasters are still selling Arichas, as are some US / Canadian roasters. Don't think anyone else in the UK is though.

The SqM Aricha 4 is up there with the best of these types of coffees I've tasted in the last year. Still think the Wellega I had from Supreme Roastworks was the most insanely fruity.

Love these coffees to bits.

Thanks for the answer! ....though that means that I won't be able to taste them I guess?

Aaargh, to read but not to taste - the plight of the uninformed! ;) :?

This is indeed true.

Agree also to order some from the Scandinavian types - they treat these coffees very well. That said - some people really hate them as they really don't taste anything like coffee.

I'll never own too many items with which to enjoy coffee.

That is true, but I think that's why they are so interesting to try and give an insight into the possibilities in coffee whilst also challenging what we taste and how we describe it.
I must admit that when I first tried the Beloya, as espresso by the way, I was (almost) speechless, didn't really know what to make of it.
But it led me to try some more African coffees and to discover that I really like certain characteristics in these coffee that I hadn't realised I could enjoy, especially brewed rather than as espresso.
I certainly wouldn't drink them everyday as espresso but they have led me on a different tangent which is always fun!
This week I are mainly ready to get back to making muffins!"
