Finca san Jose Jinotega

This month's subscription coffee from square mile! Don't know if anyone else's tried it...?

Just struck me as worth posting something up, because I've been absolutely floored by it... I've converted one sugared latte drinker to straight espresso, and I just can't get enough of the stuff. Beautiful, deep, rich and sweet with an awesome mouth feel...

ALL of it's being roast for filter on the 19th, so - if tempted - don't hang around! WELL worth it, IMO!

Haven't tried it as an espresso. As filter though it reminds me of Cachoeira, it has that nutty quality that makes me think Cachoeira. However, it's also got something that Cachoeira doesn't really have much of - acidity. Now, it's been a couple of days since my last cup, but I remember it being a kind of juicy fruit-like acidity.

Lovely coffee. This and the Finca Kilimanjaro from last month have really struck me as being really elegant and tasty.
