Tanzanian Peaberry

My last coffee of 2008 and into uncharted territory. Been a while since I had a Peaberry, the last being a Cuban I think a couple of years ago.

I took this to a medium dark roast but not into 2nd Crack.

Immediatly struck by the Honey like aroma. Dove into a Honey/Lemon Citrus taste and something like unripe apples (Only way I can describe it...). Quite a sweet acidity with a clean cup and big mouthfeel. Aftertaste reminded me of burnt toffee and cocoa and really lingered. Not the most balanced coffee as the acidity is up there, but not as in your face as a Kenyan.

Interesting Bean.

On the cupping database I gave a score of 90.5 FWIW.
