Hoping to get in some Epic Espresso, Beloya, and Aricha from 49th in Canada. Ethiopians have blown me away this year, Aricha lots from Novo (Denver) and Supreme (Norway) have been standouts, even some Sidamos have been really stellar. Fruit bombs the lot of them.

Steve's Christmas pack through the Aerobie/brewed methods, Christmas Blend and a blend of our own yet to be decided as espresso based drinks, though you never know, we might end up drinking mainly Manuela and Cach as SO if all the food gets too rich :)

Edit: Yet another typo!

Panama Esmeralda Gesha Lot 3 Peaberry. I roasted the Esmeralda Lot 5 (as a test run for the Lot 3) this Sunday. It was VERY citrussy but very nice in my first mug of it, after just 2 days rest.

Cheers,

Hugh

"Christmas blend" and "Bacon and eggs" reminds me of a funny thing this morning - I was brewing a christmas blend espresso and watching "Gary Rhodes food heroes" - he was cooking bacon - and thought "Hold on, I can smell that!".

I got closer and had a good whiff of the stream going into the cup and there it was - bacon!

Is it just me? Maybe my nose is broken.

Ha - I kind of baked some beans in the oven first time I tried oven roasting, and I could smell bacon in that cup, too. (Half an hour to just about 2nd crack, uneven roast, or "bake").

I'm in Hong Kong over Christmas. Really must make a thread to ask about places to go. Maybe my aeropress will come with me, and a little Rwandan mugombwa...
