Hi everyone,

just got a bag today. It is already one week old which pisses me off a bit, but...

... damn! this is blueberry all the way:D like eating a muffin:)

Does anyone where that blueberry'ness comes from?

Regards,
dsc.

maybe James will divuldge but I believe its the good old favourite Harrar .
I love this coffee so much I only order half a dozen times a year so I dont get familular with it.

it amazes me that its allways so consistantly incredible but also balanced with all 6 components changing due to alternate crops etc .....
more credit to the art of the roaster once again

just reminded me I need a top up . :D .

Must say, absolutely loved formula 6 the one time I tried it... Though fully agreed about the roast-in-batches thingy (so it ain't quite as fresh as fresh could be), and the bags... What's with the bags? Non-resealable, and they don't even have the benefit of being metallic-bendable-sealable [like Square Mile's]...

But those're minor grumbles... The beans themselves - phenomenally interesting! On my list of Things-To-Reorder.

Hi again,

yup you were right BB, it was the Harar that was so blueberry'ish in the Formula.

I went through two bags but failed to find it's sweet spot. The same goes for the Long bean Harar, but it was seriously the most blueberry'ish coffee I've ever had:) Damn it was showing through milk.
