Too Much Coffee

Hi All!

Whenever I'm filling in the bean hopper on my machine, i always pop a couple of beans in my mouth - I think they taste nice!

Does anybody else do this, or am I alone on this one?

Again another thing I can admit too when roasting I'm always eating beans. I feel better for sharing all these strange rituals with you all.

Ahh, glad its not just me then...

I bet they would taste good chocolate coated!

The coffee shop in town sells chocolate coated beans, they do indeed taste pretty good, though the combined sugar and caffeine hit can be a bit of a rush!

When I make me a freddo cappuccino I always throw a few beans on top for decoration and then I eat them while drinking the freddo.

In short .... yes!

Love eating them, as does my three year old...never forget taking her to:

1. Coffee Festival where her buggy tray was full of beans

2. The roastery where she started chomping green beans!

i just stick to roasted.

Doesn't everyone .. what you mean you can drink coffee too !!

Sadly the chocolate covered ones, are usually a bit old, and from unspecified sources. But we always have them for the christmas period.

I admit to eating quite a few during the day especially whilst messing around in the lab.
Just have the be careful not to eat them before cupping, and try and wash your mouth out after,.... bits of coffee stuck between your teeth is not particularly attractive.

I do! Love it! Except when they tastes like hydrochloric acid and you think "oh f**k, maybe there is such a thing as TOO light a roast!"

More points if it was light roasted robusta.
