Sulawesi Kalossi!

Postby Aadje » Thu Aug 30, 2007 3:04 pm

The second shot today, after (almost) a days work.

After some months being very buisy and away (those 2 alternating) and not having purchased good beans, I at last got meself a batch of Sulawesi Kalossi.

This morning I had a very nice ristretto and now an even better one :) It makes me realise how I almost forgot the great taste of a good ristretto, and how much I love the Sulawesi Kalossi. It just tastes so darn good!

If you haven't tried this bean yet, get some!

Just wanted to share this with y'all . . .

Really like it too, it is a standby I always have on hand for blending....
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......

Was big part of my competition blend too :)
While speaking of enjoyment of good coffee - I just started roasting in my cast iron old whirley again, and for some reason it now works like a charm. Finished a batch of Daterra Espresso Blend yesterday, and just had the first good shot of Steve's Premium blend - a bit fresh, but very palatable! This too reminds me of how much enjoyment coffee and a coffee machine can bring, to quote a user from the german coffee forum :)
