Jamaican Blue Mountain

Postby Gadders » Fri Aug 03, 2007 1:53 pm

Anybody who was at the open day on Sat may have picked up a sample of green JBM. Yesterday i roasted up the JBM, took it to just before 2C.

Here is the result.... the best espresso i have ever tasted! Can't tell u how it tasted because i was in awe :P So if you have some i urge you to roast it!!

Ok here goes! :P It had a massive body, no acidity - very earthy, deep and easy to drink, sweet with perhaps a hint of tobacco.

If you like a deep coffee with no acidity (which i do)- a dream come true!

I suspect when he says no acididy, he is actually referring to overt acidity :)

Aye, overt acidity! :) To me there was no sharpness in that cup whatsoever. Don't believe everything i say im hopeless when it comes to analysing tastes! :P

WOW! Christmas? I don't put pleasant things off longer than a few hours. Who knows if tomorrow will come?

I think you're confusing with yesterday here Bruce. In contrast to tomorrow, yesterday will never come and tomorrow allways will . . .

Well, I don't know about you, but I know one thing for sure. Some day tomorrow will never come for me.

It was a little joke . . . my apologies if it sounded harsh or in any way insulting.

Of course we'll all be gone someday, but I don't hope anytime soon for everybody here.

No problem at all Aadje. When you get older you start having morbid thoughts. Image

Come to think of it, if you'll be in an allways lit room and never sleep, there will be no tomorrow to not come tomorrow, so you'll never die :D
