New blend

Postby zapty » Sun Apr 08, 2007 11:33 am

Just created a blend with 2 parts Limu (one part to just after 1st crack and the other past 2nd crack), 1 part Colombia (20 secs past 2nd crack), 1 part Rukira (just past 1e crack), 1 part Nicaraguan Marogype (just into 2nd crack) and 1 part Paoea New Guinea (20 secs into 2nd crack).
The roasts (all parts roasted seperately) have now been blended and are resting.
The blend smells exceptionally good.
Can't wait to taste it....
Bezzera B3000A, Giotto Premium, several Cona's, several Balance Brewers, Atomic, Milano etc,
Aristarco, Rancilio MD 40, Ditting and Eureka MCI grinders, several antique roasters, a mini500/800N propane/electric Taiwanese roaster, greens all over the place...and some other unmentionables that have not been mentioned......

Zaps .... if it tastes as good as it sounds ..... MMmmmmm.

Slightly still within topic, Some coffee names are just poetry, and what you have just written was a sonnet for sure.

Trouble is that it takes no encouragment for me to have a shot and with posts like this and Gadders with his espresso pictures I am seriously past my limit Today

mmmm, sounds very nice. Unfortunately there's some beans in it I don't have ..... ;)

I did a blend with the Limu last weekend as well.

30% Cach
40% Limu
20% El Bosque
10% Robusta

All separately roasted in my old gas roaster. Now in day 2 of degassing and smelling pretty ok to me.
Veni, Vidi, Imbibi Coffea !
