origins coffee - anyone tried it?

Postby jon » Fri Feb 02, 2007 11:34 pm

My local organic/farm food shop has started selling Origins Coffee's beans - anyone tried them? Any good?

Thanks :)

I got confused for a moment (what's new), you mean they are selling the brand "Origin Coffee" roasted coffee beans, (a quick look and I thought you meant they were selling origin coffee ie Brazillian - and thought what's new) - The Origin brand is well respected in the industry and they have massively increased their market share in the last few years, their coffee is roasted and packed by a private label roaster but the quality is still very good. But if you want to get real fresh quality I would still advise roasting yourself or buying from a microroaster like HasBean.co.uk

Thanks - hm, not cheap either... might give them a try, though.

Who is your local shop? Its not Relish by any chance? Either way I am guessing you are down in the SouthWest somewhere?

Must be a different Origins - any chance you could post a picture of the bag/branding?
