nope, nothing to do with the "pumps" you're now selling  it's a "tool" for avoiding the wonderful um "bouquet" the sivetz produces, though actually, keeping it on might help when cupping the results too (a la over weight canard)!

yo!
loving the flavour of the Celebes Toraja Kalosi!
anyone else experience the same as me though that you have to grind finer with these beans? when i first pulled a shot having my grinder on my usual setting..i got a real gusher! had a full 2oz in just about 20 secs! with slightly lighter crema than i'm accustomed too.
also don't know if it's my imagination but the actual beans look larger than normal. don't you just love the variety in coffee! :)

trying to get through as many different ones as i can first and then i'll be doing the rounds again :) next up..colombia c.o.e. la mina estate!

The Kalosi is ususally quite a dark roast so you will have to go finer on the grind i find, but once you get the sweet spot its such a warm dark crema you will have to go ristretto just for the hell of it.....

glad you liked it.. its one of my "do not run out of" beans.
