H&V newsletter

Charlie Massey's (H&V) newsletter has a bit of a bad reputation with some of the TMC members. However his newsletter of earlier this week was surprisingly good. The way he talks about his new green beans made me want to try them all. I must say that he scores some points with that (like Sweet Marias).

Steve: hint-hint! :D

Totally agree - although I got mine yesterday. Did yours arrive earlier?

Yes, if you're selling gourmet goods then you need gourmet descriptions. The kind of buyer who buys such things is going to be attracted by interesting descriptions. Being interesting doesn't make them dishonest - no-one thinks Tom Owen is anything but absolutely straight and while people have their issues with Charlie Massey, they are not related to his honesty (well, occasionally maybe they have issues with his excess of honesty!)

I checked my email yesterday. I hadn't checked this specific account for a while so it could have been up to 5 days old. I guess mine was also sent on Friday then.
