Dalwhinnie is light and heathery, good to add a bit of balance if the rest of the collection is heavier.
Lagavulin is very peaty and is definitely an acquired taste. When I first tasted it I thought it was awful although now am rather partial to it.
Cragganmore is much more smokey, a favourite of mine. Glenkinchie is similar but less smokey, also very pleasing.
My personal favourite at the moment is a 35-year-old single cask Glenmorangie I bought although I doubt customers at a coffee bar would expect to find anything quite like it. Still, it could represent an interesting secondary business. Just don't put it in a coffee or the whisky lovers will disown you
I wish I were what I was when I wished I were what I am.
