This week's espresso blend.

I've not been around much for a while, so I thought I'd share this weeks blend for espresso:

I roasted an 80% Brazil (Cahcoeira Bourbon)/ 20% Harrar mix, a little darker tha intended.
2nd roast was a 50/50 Guat Antiga/ Sulawesi mix
3rd some Nanga Farms robusta.

I've been mixing to proportions of 40% Brazil, 25% Gust, 25% Sulawesi, 10% Harrar.
After day 2 the blend was very sharp with a strong liquorice taste.

After 4 days, and with a 10% robusta addition, things are better, still quite sharp, and the liquorice (too much Antiga?) but quit nice straight (not so good as a cappa).
