I just had to share some initial thoughts on the JBM I recently ordered. I roasted the first ever batch of it at the weekend, to the final throes of first crack. Rested for three days and then tasted.
I know this stuff is good because I had some from Whittards a while ago out of curiosity. I hadn't expected freshly roasted JBM to be so much better though - this stuff is wonderful! The finish in particular - a very long, smooth mouthfeel that just doesn't go away.
When I've finished my first cup (read:bucket, a cup over twice the size of any regular cup) the second one will generate some tasting notes!
