Hi Moto...good to hear from you.

I did notice that the roast continued even during cooling which makes sense as the heating element cools off gradually. I tend to prop the door open to aid the process but you are right about the chaff...ends up looking like bonfire night with sparks flying all over the kitchen :lol: .

How are you getting on with your rather fabulous machine?

Total cockup.

Was trying to hit those often reported 'floral notes' and tried to go just into 1c with the last of my Tarazu beans.

The resulting grind is a light brown kind of sandy colour and has almost no flavour at all. I will try is as a filter without milk and maybe it will surprise me but that seems to have been a major miscalculation.

But on the other hand still a learning experience.
