apologies if I've missed a previous discussion on this but anyone see the

"Roastalino" on the fracino site??

http://www.fracino.com

there's no real information on it at the moment but I'd be very interested in whether people had heard anything good or bad about it ...

they also do some very funky covers for their machines if you check under the "vinyl" link

am thinking of going leopardskin with my Spazio to match my couch and bed sheets ....

heeeeyyyy baayyyybby - the spirit of Barry White lives on  ...

What *have* you been smoking?

Seen it. Think I heard that it was a re-badged something or other, can't remember, wasn't interested (not a Pro 1500 is it?)

AFAIK most Fracino stuff is re-badged something else. In this industry I think that happens a lot. My Fracino shop grinder is a re-badged .... oh lord I don't remember at the moment, but something.

oh and interesting what you say about the rebadging - they seem to give the impression they're on the cutting edge of design - the minxes!

any idea what their rebadged machines are - they do look familiar ...

must say though - a ding dong website if ever I saw one ...

The Tranquillo grinder is probably a Cunill?
This week I am eagerly anticipating the first god shots from my La Spaziale machine....

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. But then I started to doubt myself so I shut up.

Re the Roastalino (eeeew, rotten name) it reminds me of something, can't think what. Looking at it it doesn't look like a Pro 1500. Steve's seen one I think - do you recall what it *really* is mate?

Is that the roaster you mean, Phil? Anyone know if it's any good? Looks like a popper-kind of thing.

There don´t seem to be a lot of beans in there, anyway. A 100g max roaster?

It's £850 retail for the hot air roster, they do make their own espresso machines but the technology has not changed much for a number of years, and I have heard a few negative comments on the build quality, leaking sight glasses etc.

Eeeeyyyy 850 quid? Thats £8.50/gram then! My popper was £0.00067/gram, give or take a zero. Thanks for the info, I think I´ll save my money.
