Why do you home roast

Its 2-5 for me. However, you forgot No 7: Do you like to stun "food-snobs" and similar people by simply saying that you roast your own? YES!!! It never fails!

Not to mention the look on the faces of your guests when you explain how the Kopi Luwak they just drank got its unique flavour! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I still chuckle about one of the guys at work - this guy is a bit of a sneery type who obviously thought I was being a bit over the top insisting on using freshly ground coffee. As he said, since I didn't roast it myself I didn't know how fresh the beans were. When I told him I did roast it myself so I knew exactly what they were and when they were roasted he looked a bit sheepish and shut up.
