Hi Guys
another quick question. the panel Steve sent is a digital display but smaller than the one its replacing (failed to attach photo). He assures me it will fit so I will have a go but can't quite see how it will fit?

To my recollection all the displays are interchangeable. The digital display fit in my vanilla (original analog) model without problem.

Make sure you don't squash the fan wires in between the two housing halves when you screw it back together. Mine came that way from the factory and one day the fan stopped working as a result of the wire being broken. It wasn't a problem to fix, but you can avoid the bother by just carefully holding the wires in place with a thin screwdriver or stiff wire.

Does it work? I would just plug it in and screw it to the front..

What you need is one of these, even though it is rubbish. It works fine but even I don't want it. Are you sure Steve has not given you an upgrade?

Whooops! Mine was complete with front panel. That looks like the board from a different model. You'll definitely need a different front panel for that.

You were right, it was a control panel for a different machine, and i've got the right one now. I've taken about six screws out of the end, but can't get it open. what do i need to do?

Have installed it successfully now. I had not noticed a couple of screws. a struggle to get the old board out as the clips had become hardened by the heat and one snapped, but new one fitted in ok. New panel working fine. can't quite work out why the old one stopped - the heat setting button had stopped working properly, but when i pushed it on the circuit board it worked fine. Alls well that ends well.
