Burmese beans

Postby pault » Fri Oct 29, 2004 3:57 pm

a question for Steve basically but thought others might be interested ...

It's taken me ages to get around to roasting some of the good Burma beans but I wanted to play with my Cona B so ...

I seem to remember (but my memory get's worse every day) you described only roasting them to a light colour - but can you give any advice on the timing in relation to 1st crack??

No bother if it has to be done on the colour basis - I might order some that you've done for comparison's sake (so now you're bound to tell me it has to be done by colour not timing

thanks,

Paul.

I'd go for a very light roast with the Burma as the speckled appearance dissipates. I've attached a picture of the kind of roast I would use, hope it is some help.
