Roasting Rwanda Mugombwa 100% Bourbon

Postby Hiwakey » Tue Nov 04, 2008 10:00 pm

Hi all - normally a lurker as there's a great resource of info here which is usually all I need for my purchases/travels.

I currently live/work in Cambs which seems to be a bit of a good coffee desert (though any tips around Stevenage/Hitchin area where I'm going to be working next would go down v.well!). Just as an aside, I tried out Monmouth while down at Borough Market the other day which was quite the best espresso I've had in this country :D

On this occasion I've bought some of the above from Steve a few days ago but evidently he didn't have much left as it's disappeared from Hasbean site now!
Normally I use the excellent cupping notes to get some idea of the roast range and espresso/filter suitability but as it's disappeared I can't get at them.

Can anyone give us a clue what sort of range is best for this coffee?

That's another few biscotti in the TMC tin for you me lad :P

Joking aside.. for those who wonder... that's a question asked and a questioned answered... we have no problem with that. TMC is meant to serve as a source of information, we don't consider answering (innocent) questions as advertising!
So on this occasion, let's just say you owe Mark and I a pint, Steve
