No real dates of yet, still working out the finer points of CE certification and logistics.

Steve - what you need to do is get a lot more testing units! A lot! They will probably need indefinite testing - and of course the testers need to pay a ~£200 shipping premium.

Exactly my point !!!!! ...... seriously how much testing has Steve done with this machine ?

if he sent me one I could burn several body parts on it for him ! .. could even write up a whole list of saftey precautions to take when using the roaster, Like

3.1.1 Do not lick the roaster when hot
3.1.2 Do not touch nose against roaster when hot
3.1.3 Never despence chaff collector when naked

etc etc etc

Well said that man. That is the trouble when you allow decisions to be taken by those living in the capital. They are just not 'hands on' enough ... or other parts of the body in your case ...

Although what some members do in the privacy of their owm home is worrying and questionable to most of us, there is some twisted logic in their actions that can be of benefit to the rest of us. I now know that the chances of producing a family are greatly reduced by sticking certain parts into the HotTop drum whilst revolving and pouring freshly roasted and very hot beans into the girlfriends bra in order to whirl it around your head to cool is inadvisable while she is still wearing it.

I think that Steve's comments on CE Certification should be reworded to say that certifiable members should only buy their coffee ready roasted from him for health and safety reasons. The fact that he sent lethal machinery to those of a less that subnormal sense, can be explained by the fact that he lives in the area of the UK known as the Potteries. The population of which spend most of their lives with their heads in very hot ovens, there are rumours that they eat their young and vote Lib/dem.

Any updates Steve?

I've completely abandoned the iRoast2 due to dissatisfaction with the results (despite a good year of f-ing about with it). Can't justify the price of the Hottop with the Behmor just over the horizon though.

I'm in limbo :(
