Fingers crossed...Gene Repair....

Postby espressomattic » Wed Jan 30, 2008 10:31 pm

Thaks to Serge over at coffeesnobs, I shall hopefully be in posession of a new drive motor cog (Small plastic thing) and I can finally get the Gene up and running again. Will post pics of the repair in due course....

Can you believe though I had to go all the way to Australia to get a custom made part that the suppliers here do not stock and Genesis won't send or acknowledge my existence. :?

I only acknowlegde your existence because I feel sorry for you! :P

I think I am actually sick of repairing Genes. If a Gene breaks it should go to one place, and one place only...the Bin!

OK a bit harsh, but it does get everso a little tiresomes! :D

And yet you apparently stick with it. Is this just masochism or do you secretly love it?
