I'd say its commercial idiocy to price something at £300 more for a simple panel. There must be more to it. Are you guessing, or do you know!
I was more after facts than supposition.
If it is true, though, it seems to make no retail sense to go so high.

I was asking more what the cash bought you, not why he wanted the £300 extra! Market value should correspond somewhat to parts etc. Just wondered what the huge extra was related to in terms of hardware/software/gizmo stuff.
I ca\n't figure £300 for a simple electronic panel upgrade!

As far as I know, Hottop doesn't view the UK as a major market, though I may be wrong. I get the feeling they are not bothered about marketing the update here for whatever reason, and have taken the view that it will be priced accordingly but still be available at a premium if someone is prepared to pay.

We will all be guessing here on the forum. If you want cold hard facts it may be worth emailing Hottop and asking why it is so much more. After all, it's a fair question given the price differential; they should at least acknowledge you have a reasonable point.

Just to say here, that I make less on the digital than the normal machine and Hottop have been told about the pricing that it needs to change but its not.

But until the Behmor actually appears in Europe for 230 Volt use, HotTop can still ask for a higher price over here compared to the USA.

Steve, are you also talking about selling the new basic model (KN-8828B Basic Model), or just the programmable version? I would be interested in the B model if the price is somewhat reasonable.
