I know what is good for me, indeed!

So Phil, what's the weather like in Swindon?

I'm half-tempted to forget about waiting for Tom's and Mark's reviews and just pre-order the damn thing -- my patience is getting thin, and I want to start roasting again!

I could also use an espresso machine, as all I have right now is a single shot stove-top (refurbished would suit me fine, so long as it's relatively decent quality and inexpensive).

DrZeus, just to be clear, you are talking the new Hearthware roaster, right? Is there already a 230V version available for pre-ordering?

Sorry...I was just meaning that I completely overlooked the important element of voltage differences. Ya know, I've only been here 6 months. :) I knew I needed 220V, but in my excitement it must have slipped my mind.

I'll be waiting with baited breath! In the meantime, where can find a WestBend Poppery II for 220V? Hell, even a stove-top whirlytop would suit me right now.

I'm liable to just throw some green in the microwave and hope for the best, the way I'm feeling right now. :)
