Roast your beans and grill a steak....

Postby zapty » Wed Aug 15, 2007 5:02 pm

Check this one out:

It is supposed to be a multi function roaster and barbeque, roasts beans, nuts, seeds and the lord knows what else (claims to toast bread, make cookies and fry eggs), and also bbq's beef, I wonder if the steak also fits inside this contraption....?

Processes up to 1 kg (!) of whatever it is you want to put inside it...

The only appliance you'll ever need...get one and let me know how you like it will you....?

By the way, no wonder the German's are known for their engineering capabilities.

Just placed a bid on it, if it goes cheap I'd like to play around with it a bit :) If it sucks than I still can use some parts of it me thinks.

Will bid again about 30 seconds before it ends, it's no use upping the price if it's still got 5 days to go ;)

Found this thread when searching for something....

did I mention I did actually win that auction ?
did I mention I had to repaint the kitchen because of the smoke it generates ?
did I mention the heating element is placed on the axis of the drum so you can't roast more than 40/50 grams ?
did I mention I tried it once and then threw it in the bin ?
did I mention the seller made a mistake and sent 2 of these "roasters" ?
did I mention I still have one new in the box ?

My advice ... stay away from these things...

Oooh ooh ooh. You've got to send one of these to Steve, he loves a "challenge" when it comes to roasting devices... oh and he knows how to deal with fires too!
