Joe Roaster.... where are you??

Postby NottmSteve » Sat Jul 16, 2005 10:41 am

Whatever happened to the Joe Roaster??
Isn't there anything on the horizon that will take the crown from the hottop?

And, hello everyone: I have been away months. Something to do with too much work and too litte play.

I did... but I recal reading the Joe Roaster was going to be the dogs nuts, rather than just another roaster on the same old ideas.
I suppose I'm looking for something with the Hottops roast profile , the Alpenrosts quality, and the option to roast less than 250g's.
And England to win the Ashes, and 1966 to be repeated blah blah....

I'm getting old at 32!

The Alpenrost's quality?

Why on earth would you want something to be that bad? The Hottop has the Alpenrost comprehensively beaten for both build quality and roasting, so I can't even begin to understand what you mean.

There are several people/companies supposedly developing new roasters, but none has yet made it to market.

The Hottop, on the other hand, looks like a snip at GBP 400 if you ask me. Mine's two and half years old and still roasting like a good 'un.
