Long or short roast

Simonp, the minimum temperature setting on the i-roast is 160 (320) which is a good 17 degrees C hotter than your start point, I will try it at 160/7 to start with on my next roast just to see what happens, the other problem is the i-roast fan is very noisey, and I have yet to hear any cracks, I have to rely on the colour of the beans and the temperature to decide on when to stop the roast.
