They can produce very good results.
I've had coffee from them a few times in China. The best was in Kunming, which is the coffee growing province of China, hence a greater awareness of fresh coffee. Here they actually did it twice, because the first time the brew was too fast -- the head "barista" grimaced, made a few adjustments, brewed again so that it steeped for a bit over a minute, and came out with a very nice coffee. The last one I had was at a Russian restaurant in Harbin, quite a spectacle but appalling coffee!
The owner of one of our best local coffee shops imported one. Unfortunately I missed this opportunity to try one with really good coffee because he liked it so much that he took it home ...
