Aeropress Methods

Was just reading the thread on using an Aeropress with espresso cups... and realised that I rarely use mine for short drinks. Which made me wonder how other people use theirs... so here's a little poll, I've only tried to cover the most basic methods (not all recommended by Aerobie), as if you were brewing for 1 person/1 cup.
Cheers

Hmm - i'd do one scoop per mark, ish. Often it ends up thus -
2 scoop, fill to 2.5, then top up with hot water.

Makes a great coffee at work, even if the kit gets odd glances..

None of the above. Two scoops and water up to number two. No dilution :)

Ok, edited, for those that like the extraction ratio of a 1/1, but a slightly longer drink.
Never gone for this style myself, simply because if I wanted a short drink like that, I'd rather just have an espresso.

I also do the 'inverted' method. You do everything upside down and screw the filter on last. It means you don't get water dribbling through whilst you stir.

Yeah, definitely a fan of the inverted method here too, it can be a little precarious, but I prefer the extraction.
Interesting to see that so far more people are drinking a longer more dilute drink. That is what I have always favoured, even when I don't have access to a proper espresso machine. It has definitely replaced my FP.

2 scoops of coffee, water up to 3 then dilute in the cup.
