Replacement Hario cotton filter 'socks'

Postby Skippy » Wed Apr 23, 2008 11:56 am

Ive had my Hario bloom brewer for over a year now so i think the cotton 'sock' must need replacing. The problem is i cant find anywhere that actually sells them. Does anyone know where i can get hold of a few?

If you're using it daily perhaps you need to change it every two or three months....

I guess there's also a holder with a ring and handle right?
Can you give me the diammer of the ring? Mine may fit.

The cotton filter is 10cm across and just slides onto the metal ring.

Even the handle looks like mine but mine has 9.3cm diameter,a bit smaller than yours.
zix, i aint sure but the reason to get new socks is mainly due to the furs on them fell off. i'd say if you find the fur starts to clump into a lot of small patches, you might want to replace it when you've time. I will say maybe after more than 60 times of usage.

edit: made another measurement more carefully, 9.3cm
