I can tell you it is expensive to make (I've spoken at length with those in the know about the clover) and there were some huge R & D costs with a very limited market, I don't think its any surprise the price the machine is at all.

I dont think people doubt that Steve, as I'm sure most people here appreciate the costs involved with researching developing and bringing to market a new product.
Given that at the moment it appears as if the CEC have agreed upon a merger with *$, I wonder what this means for any future innovations?
