My girlfriend bought a hand grinder for us today, I think this model was really common in the '60s, it looks really nice.
We are still working on dialing it in for our drip machine.

Nice! I have a similar one here (from zassenhaus) which has quite a bad grind quality (i expected better from zassenhaus). But the look good and do their job

Nice. I sold a few wall grinders some years ago. Lukas, I believe the Zassenhaus wall grinders do not grind anywhere near as fine as the box (or lap) grinders. If you compare the grinding burrs it seems obvious why this is. The wall grinders use much coarser looking burrs than the box grinders. I think the box grinders were designed to grind "Mokka" fineness and the wall grinders were generally for pour-over paper filter grind.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters. I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!
