Yours don't seem to have the windy up inner basket thingy that mine has?

Hmm... Is this what you mean?
Water goes in right hand section; coffee goes in top part of centre section then lid wound onto this (is this what you mean?); centre section is dropped into right hand section; left hand section (minus lid!) fitted on top, upside down; then to the stove etc...etc.
This one's only about 6 years old. Do you have any pics of yours?
