Well folks, since it seems that nobody has completely lost the plot lately I thought I should take the hint. Try this recipe if you feel like something a bit off-beat.
2/3 fill a cup with milk and microwave it until it bubbles to the top of the cup. Then add two shots of espresso made with Monsoon Malabar beans. Add 2 teaspoons of Chocolate Abyss and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper and stir together well. Then throw in a handful of tiny marshmallows.
Odd but strangely pleasing. Now I just need to wait for the nice men in white coats to turn off the lights...

Sounds like a chilli mocha. Are the men in white coats from starbucks by any chance?

It's easier than using the steam wand. The steam wand on my Gaggia is fine for frothing smallish amounts but not so good for heating a lot of milk at once.
