https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oo ... GwodYlMHrQI met these guys at Cup North. I have tried to resist temptation ....do I really need another machine?
But I have finally given into temptation and pledged enough to get a unit when it becomes available. I use a Aeropress every day at work at the Oomph looks even easier.
I'll let you know more when I get it but so far I really like the look of it not least because there are no messy paper filters.

This is useless in my point of view, why not just enter a coffee shop when you want your coffee when you on the go?

Ok ...got my Oomph a couple of weeks ago and so far...I love it!
Take the point about going into a coffee shop but....
1. There are no good coffee shops near where I work.
2. I actually can't get out of work when I want to and usually get 40 mins for lunch meaning I need a quick way to brew on the go.
3. Gadgets are fun because and you can alter the brew to get it just the way you like it.
Worth a look IMO..

What do you do about grinding? Do you have a hand grinder to go with it or do you grind at home and take your ground coffee with me. I find the grinding to be the limiting factor in making coffee away from my kitchen.
Three Francesconi (CMA) espresso machines - Rossi, San Marco, LaCimbali, Faema and 2 Mazzer Major grinders- CoffeeTech Maggionlino, Hottop, Alpenröst and HW Precision roasters. I decided I needed a bit of a change so I roasted some Monsooned Malabar. That was a change!

Hi Bruce,
I usually grind enough at home to last me a couple of days and keep it in one of those glass jars with a springy lid to keep it fresh.
This clearly is not ideal but I find the resulting brews are OK and have noticed that there is still a good amount of crema and body to the flavour. I just then take the jar home when empty and re fill.
