If thermoblocks are any good, will they be the answer to cheaper better machines?

I haven't seen any reviews of this yet but for $750, it's a lot of espresso machine but the cost saving seems to come from throwing away the boilers adn using separate thermoblocks for steam and brewing. The steam one is a fairly basic unit but the brewing one is rumoured to have a reservoir. There's a sort of PiD controlling temperature but it's a bit worrying to see 107°C on the display in the manufacturer's photograph. In theory, a thermoblock should be easier to control precisely than a half litre reservoir.

But has anyone tried one or tasted the results???

No, not seen this before, all very new to me. Yes, that temperature does appear rather high. Presumably they would adjust the readout for offset but who knows. As you say, stability is the question but they are a reasonably serious player in the machine world so you would hope it to be decent. Interesting machine!
