dsc, apologies for stealing the topic title

i too just won an ebay auction but for a slightly older machine.
an arrarex caravel. this will be my first experience with lever machines.
they seem to be capable of producing great shots and just look stunning anyway.

Brilliant! Even if it doesn't work, just put it in the kitchen for the ooohs and aaaahs of friends & family :)

i very much hope that she does work. judging by the pictures that were on ebay it should be in great shape. so i'm hoping to be pulling shots with it soon.

Just noticed this, haha no worries Icke:) how's the machine? I was tempted to go for a lever, but couldn't miss a classic for such a low price:)

Regards,
dsc.

surprisingly enough, the 1st shot i pulled with it blew me away... i've only gotten tiny ristrettos so far but they're real good.

Thanks for posting the coffee porn. It is rare to find machines that are such works of art. 8)
